Governor Baker hopes states will follow the lead of Ohio, Vermont and Maryland

Baker confirmed that the NCAA would stay in touch with the state regarding bullying and asked them to consider banning college prop betting in particular.

"This week, we will still allow these bets and ask Ohio, Vermont, Maryland and many other states to contact their employees to remove college prop bets from all betting markets," he continued.

"The NCAA is drawing a line on sports betting to protect student-athletes and protect the integrity of the game. Issues across the country in recent days show that there is more work to be done."
